It's my posting day today, and here's my contribution - a slice of life from one of the more irritating periods of Giles's life in Sunnydale.

Hello. It's my first posting day today. I bring six interconnected drabbles - Giles's thoughts about the six cast regulars - Buffy, Xander, Willow, Dawn, Anya and Spike - in the final season of BtVS.

Setting: Around the time of/during Chosen
Rating: PG
Pairing: Slight hints of Giles/Anya, if you squint.

Hi. It's my posting day today and I bring fic. At the end of 2008, I wrote a Spike/Giles story for the Welcome to the Nancy Tribe ficathon run by ruuger. It was an AU version of BtVS season 7 where, instead of returning to Sunnydale after getting his soul, Spike sought out Giles in England instead. In 2009, I wrote a couple of sequels to the story. Then RL intervened and I wrote nothing for a very long time. Then I had writers' block. That's gone finally :crosses fingers:, and I'm posting the next story in the series to this comm.

Unfortunately, it leads on directly from the events of the previous stories, so it might be a good idea to read those first. They can be found here. Hope you enjoy this one.

Setting: An apartment belonging to Giles's Watcher colleague Robson, London, UK, during BtVS season 7, around the time of Beneath You/Same Time, Same Place.
Pairing: Spike/Giles
Rating: R but only for a spot of violence and some bad/non-PC language from Spike

Author's note: if it seems like I go on a bit about the appearance of Robson's flat, it's because I've never seen anywhere in the UK that looks anything like it. Also, if you decide that Giles is acting stupidly in this story, he does have a very good reason, for which see the previous story in the sequence.

Hi. It's my posting day today so here in my contribution. Unfortunately, I'm afraid it's not very summery.

Rating: Not good at deciding this but G probably.
Pairing: the very slightest hint of Giles/Ethan
Setting: An un-named city in Eastern Europe. This ficlet uses BtVS season 8 comics continuity. However, I've tried to keep too specific mentions of anything that happens in the comics to a minimum so it could be a hypothetical event that occurs post-Chosen. All that's important is that the last time we saw Ethan Rayne (in A New Man) he was being taken away by the Initiative for 're-education.'
