Notes: Set in Season 3, begins at the very end of Helpless and goes through The Zeppo and into Bad Girls. This is sort of half-fic, half image – I made the graphics first and then the text, and I'm posting them all together. Quote in the third section from the transcript of The Zeppo [found here]

Happy Open Posting Day everybody!!

I had hoped to get the rest of the movie posters finished by this day, but such was sadly not the case. Instead I have some graphics for you that will be part of a series of pairings (hopefully, if I can get more done) that I hope to post later today. Here's the start at least!

Before the summer started I opened up an graphics offer post for anybody who wanted a movie poster. Due to some ongoing computer problems I wasn't able to get them all done for today, but I do have the first 8! And hopefully I'll be able to finish the rest for my next posting day. In the meantime,

Hi all! I hope you've been having fun at SOG so far! For my first day I have the following for you guys - they're Giles + a bunch of characters doing his debonair thing in a Film Noir kind of way. Directly inspired by film noir movie posters (and for at least one, using it as the base for a manip) I give you 8 different Noir!Giles...

Sorry this is so late in the day all! Thank you guys so much for offering Giles!definitoins in my last post - I took these words from the suggestions made and got as many as I could done between then and now. I hope you like!

I pulled a couple of words that seemed to me to be sort of descriptions of Giles, and you get graphics!

Here are a couple more of that 'series' I was talking about.

For Giles & Wes though, it's not so much one single moment, but instead a series of them standing just too close to each other, looking so cute in their suits and cleaning their glasses together.  The way Wes is so absolutely silly and Giles is so sardonic just makes me grin.

polly1esther 's hilarious vid The Odd Couple totally reminded me that for a brief moment (well, sorta half a season) Giles & Spike lived together as uneasy roommates.  There was teasing, and blood drinking, and some astonishment at the guitar playing.  

( So I give you my version of the odd couple )

And finally... there are very few times when Giles and Oz directly interact (though I can think of some fairly fraught ones pertaining to Oz getting to his cage on time in highschool). But there's this one moment in Season 4 in Harsh Light of Day where Oz says what he says in the poster below, and Giles almost stops what he's doing to listen to an album, when they're in perfect accord. And I LOVED that moment.
