Weekly Round Up #5

Whoa! Looks like the authors had all the fun this week at Summer of Giles! The week started out with a series of haikus reflecting Giles’ experiences through the seven seasons, then we were treated to another episode in a longer running series that puts Giles in the role of the big bad during season one! Next Giles tries to convince Buffy that nothing is wrong while trying to placate Willow with regards to a new prophecy in the next chapter of Unholy Savior. The fourth entry tugged at our heartstrings in a tender story that has Buffy tending to Giles in the final stages of illness. No less heartbreaking was the next story, which finds Giles mourning the death of his Slayer in an AU that had her killed during the events of Becoming Pt 1 & 2. The last offering this week gave us a little something, something between Watcher and Slayer as he offers her an escape from the monotony of her Council dominated life in a post series setting.
