Setting: Season 4 AU, set a few months after the "The Freshman," but not following canon after that episode.
Summary: The Summer before Buffy started college was a long one for Giles with his young friends enjoying their summer holidays elsewhere. His reunion with Buffy during the events of "The Freshman" caused a rift he couldn't fix. A big fire in the warehouse district brings them back into contact, but what happens when the Slayer discovers her Watcher is a fireman?
