Feedback Friday (AKA: the Weekly Roundup!)

It's that time again! Time to see what happend this week on summer_of_giles and time for all of my favorite participants to think about leaving feedback for these marvelous posters!

Remember, everytime you feedback you save the rainforest (ok, not really, but but if you tell someone you liked the work they did you might make their day).

Hi everybody.  I want to start out by saying how awesome you've all been, and how glad I am you all signed up to do stuff this summer! 

But I'm going to ask all future posters to do me a small favor:  If you haven't gotten anything written/created for your day 24 hours before you're scheduled to post, email me  at katekat1010 at yahoo dot com

This comm is supposed to be about fun.  And sometimes, real life interrupts timelines, somtimes the muse just won't speak, or sometimes the sign-up day approaches WAY faster than it was supposed to.  I don't want you to stress out about this comm.  I don't want you worry about your entry.  I would rather you let me know that you aren't going to make your day than have you feel like this comm is making more trouble for you!

But there's no way I can ask anyone fill in or do backup if I give them an hours notice and tell them they need to post the same day.  It's not fair to the nice people who are willing to do backup.

You may be a fast writer who can put together a fic in a couple of hours!  And that's awesome!  Or a graphic artist who can spin out icons like that!  And you rock!  I will not assume that, just because you email me, you've lost your day or you won't be able to make it!   I will keep in contact with you and if you can make it, if you find the muse hits you at 3 am and you turn out a drabble or two or find time to make a single icon, then that's going to be awesome!! 

But if you have a long work day and you make it home at like 10 pm, or you had a fic idea that just petered out, and you find that posting on your day isn't going to work, I'd like to have a backup ready to go and willing to post. 

We even have a couple of people who wanted to sign up but weren't able to because the days were filled.  So hey, you'd be giving them a chance to contribute too.

So please, let me know!!  /mom-lecture voice  

Don't stress.  Have fun.  And keep on enjoying the Giles.  I know that I am.
