“Very well.” Laying across the backseat he hugged his body. “Will you be long?”
“I just have a couple of demons to take care of and then, I promise, I will get you to the hospital.”
“I’m terribly sorry I’m bleeding all over your mother’s car.”
“It’s not…Giles…Mom died years ago. We’re in England now. Stay awake for me.”
“Really hurts.”
Buffy glared angrily at the makeshift roadblock of vampires ahead of her. They were already gloating and that was their mistake.
