Drabble: The Stick-up FRC Giles, Anya
Welcome to a weekend of First-line Last-line drabble challenge. The rules are simple and everyone is welcome to take part 2nd and 3rd July only.
1. Take the last line of a proceeding drabble and make it you first line.
2. Write a drabble of exactly 100 words.
3. Create a new post here and whoosh!
I shall start us off with:
Title: The Stick-up
Author: il_mio_capitano
Length 100
Characters: Giles, Anya
Rating: FRC
“Give me all the money from the register and you won’t get hurt.”
Giles looked at the would-be robber in distain, but Anya was the first to react.
“You can’t have the money,” she said indignantly. “It’s mine.”
“Technically it’s mine, Anya,” Giles retorted.
“But I’m the one who looks after it for you. You’d spend it on silly things otherwise.”
“Rent and electricity for instance?”
“Exactly!”
“Excuse me,” the man intervened. “I want the money!”
“And we’re explaining you can’t have it,” Anya said dismissively. “Go away.”
Giles produced a crossbow from under the counter.
“You should probably go.”
