Stages of Understanding.

Summary: After Buffy's death, Rupert Giles ran from Sunnydale as he could. When he learns of his slayer's resurrection he comes back with a blind sense of hope and completely unsure of what he will find. Upon seeing The broken shell of the women he loves, Giles vows to help her find her way back to the person she used to be. Stages of Understanding is about love, life, death, forgiveness and moving forward.
A/N: okay, I have more chapters written but they are in the beta faze. I will update to my fanfiction account (just look for the title) and on my LJ.

Ah . . . the angsty, angst-angst continues. Buffy and Giles are so wound up in worry and stress, and Willow isn't exactly helping - calling Angel - what was she thinking?? At least she also called Giles. Glad Buffy is smart enough, even though upset, to pass on the Angel thing and wait for her one true man.

I really like your mature and helpful Dawn. So many times she is written as a whiny nuisance. Her Key reference was very well stated and I think it helped Buffy cope.

Looking forward to when you get Buffy and Giles together and they can start to work some of this out!

Thanks Chev! I felt like I needed to do the Angel thing. Dawn..I really love Dawn. I feel like with Buffy dying so soon after Joyce, that would cause Dawn to grow up quickly. Plus the the key thing....

As far as Willow......she has a lot of growing to do.

Yea! I agree that the Angel thing was important - it really served to show how Willow wasn't thinking straight about things, and thus was not really in a position to be helpful to Buffy. Hence . . . the need for her one true honey to come back!
