Note: This isn't what I intended to put up today, but this is just a (safety net) little something to hold you over until I put the finishing touches on my fic and put it up later tonight.
Note 2: This is what happens when I have an editing party with my McBrother, stay up until 4am, have some alcohol, and get ready to see Much Ado About Nothing. I swear there is a story in this video somewhere.

i say YAY for crazy editing parties! this is awesome! and while I don't know Amy (i know, admitting i'm not a Dr Who watcher is blasphemy) I still think this really works to capture a destructive angsty relationship really well!

A little disquieting that we so readily link physical violence with the passion between two people … but we do, and this one quickly and powerfully communicates that. (Not a DW watcher at all, so I probably miss some of the meaning that would come from knowledge of the character Amy, but the matching of music and visuals here is striking.)

You don't need to have knowledge of Amy at all for this. It's just a crack pairing that me and my best friend came up with one day and she gave them this abusive spin. My take on them is more post-breakup angst but I was making this video with her next to me and this is the result.

Wow. Incredible. The coloring/texturing is amazing, I absolutely love it. This is an incredible video, and there definitely is a story in there. I see post-S5 with no immediate S6. Giles returns to England, starts a destructive relationship to fill the void…maybe I'll write some of it for 2014 SOG!
