Fic

Hello, today I have fic for you.  Nothing too heavy, just some lightweight B/G romance with a little angst tossed into the mix. Hope you enjoy.

TITLE: "Lost & Found"
AUTHOR:  Koala
PAIRING: Buffy/Giles
RATING: FRM [mature situations, angst]
SPOILERS: Set post-"Chosen" in my own little Joss-comic-free AU.
STATUS: approx 25,000 words, 6/6 chapters, complete

SUMMARY: Six months after the defeat of The First and the destruction of Sunnydale, Giles invited Buffy to England to help rebuild the New Watcher's Council. Now, a year later, she's grown discontent, and has begun to question her role in life and where her future is headed.

Oooh, very nice! I liked this a lot - it was fun, with just the tiniest bit of angst, as you said. And I particularly liked Mrs. Pendleton for knocking Buffy and (especially) Giles upside the head the way they both deserved. Thank you!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: you rock, my dear marsupial.

Your fanfic is what got me into really reading bg, and eventually, writing my own. This story delivered all of my expectations, and more. I love how you build the angst, and your characterizations are spot on. I can't say enough... I don't have the words to express how much I loved this story, just like all your stories!

I pimped you and this story in my personal LJ. Hopefully you'll get even more fans!

Very interesting use of the thunderstorm to bring them together in many ways. I also liked the voice of your Buffy.

Wow! That was absolutely brilliant!

'The notoriety of 'Professor Giles and the Shagmobile' was destined to fuel the community gossip mill for some months to come.'

I could almost see it happen.

So glad to see you a part of this. I've missed you.
Wonderful story. Just the right amount of angst, drama and humor. Love the "stiff" line. I can totally see Buffy going through a bit of an identity crisis post Chosen. I think she'd begin to miss being the only "Chosen" one. I also like the 'been there, done that' attitude she has on the vision quest and doesn't quite get what the guide is trying to tell her. Thanks for sharing and welcome back.

Aww, this was so sweet! Poor little!giles and the lightning storm. :(

I love the "shagmobile," too funny, lol. Mrs. P should win an award for having to put up w/ the two of them AND for sorting them out when they needed it. *grin*

Thank you so much for contributing!

Lovely, lovely job, and how awesome is it to see new fic from you? Yay! Giles who is petrified of thunderstorms just breaks my heart, and I love that Buffy's way of saving him is to strip. =P. Also, Mrs. P? Pwns.

Lady this was an absolutely fantastic read! I love that you bring back the Slayer ritual to find herself - it's a lovely exploration of Buffy's character and you add depth to Giles at the same time. Thank you for contributing another B/G gem!
