My third and final video. Due to the copyright issues with YouTube (where they may or may not appear), I'll put all the videos on Vimeo. It's also possible to download these videos from there.

This is technically a sequel to one of my past videos but I think it can stand on its own. This video is dedicated to getjrjt who pointed out that Buffy and Giles in my ever so depressing Wicked Game vid deserved a happier ending - and she was absolutely right. They got punished for breaking the rules when in fact that's exactly the thing that makes Buffy and Giles so special in the first place.

Summary: Takes place right after the Council has separated Buffy and Giles because of their romantic relationship. They both try to imagine life without the other but find it unbearable. They decide to fight against the Council's ruling the only way they know how.

you make me remember why i love Buffy/Giles so so so so very much!! Oh gods, that was seriously just beautiful and I'm almost teary. And I never get teary! The way you played with light in this one, especially the split screening lighting on their faces at the end, was just PERFECT (oh, and also how you were emphasizing the faces and reactions, just GAH).

thank you SO much for today!!! i know these take an amazing amount of work that I can't even comprehend, and oh my gods they're so awesome it just ... yeah. absolutely wonderful. WONDERFUL.

I love vidding for these two, B/G is just a gift that keeps on giving. Sometimes though, when watching/vidding their reactions to each other, I just have to wonder how come these two weren't canon. It's written on their faces, dammit!

I completely agree with you - sometimes, the looks they give each other are just too awesome for words. Like that moment you used from the musical (when they're singing the together song)? so crazily perfect for each other. I'm just glad you can make it happen in vids.

I have irrational love for that scene. I think it stemmed from Joss' commentary where he said that scene was basically Buffy wooing Giles to see things in her perspective. Joss pretty much had me at 'woo', I didn't care about the rest. There was Buffy and Giles and 'woo' in the same sentence and I was in love.

You know what, wow doesn't even cover how wonderful this video is. I am going to have to invent a new word, I'll have to get back to you on that. When you said it had a happy ending you were not kidding! It blew me away, I must have watched it half a dozen times, it's my new fave. And I didn't think it was possible, but made me fall in love with B/G all over again. Your talent is awe inspiring, I would love for some talented writer to write a fic based solely on your vid. Can't wait for what you post next. And thank for the dedication. I will of course be telling even more of my friend to tune it to your site and your vids. :)

I'd be thrilled if someone were to find inspiration from any of my vids. I think that's the best part about fandom when we inspire each other. I'm not sure whether there would be for example the vamp vids without the inspiration I got from khaoschilde's work. And hey, if it weren't for you, this vid might have never seen the light of day.
