<3 Aw, I SO want to hug him! I know, despite the way the show handled it, leaving Buffy and company was never an easy decision for Giles. I DO believe, if Ash himself had not so desperately wanted to return home, it never would have happened -- but I also can't blame him for yearning for his family and home. He gave us some wonderful years before they all but destroyed his character in order to release him from contract. </3 I'm also curious as to how much of this is cannon? I know the Watcher duty was thrust upon Giles, but I've never read anywhere else about Edna? I DO love the idea though!! <3
