I think you definitely did it justice, it was beautifully done.

I've seen some of the panels of de-aged Giles and he just seems so adorable. I can't afford to get into the comics right now, but I'm hoping some day I can so I can read all about mini-Giles, rather than relying on screenshots I find scattered online and the Rupert Giles wiki page to find out what happens to him.
