Nice too to flesh out the amulet since it seemed quite rashly (and luckily) used in the show since they didn't know much about it.
Ugh. That drove me crazy!! I mean, I realized that, for show production purposes, they wanted to keep everything about the amulet a little sketchy, since this was going to be the device that was going to bring Spike over to Angel, but from a narrative standpoint, it make no sense that everyone would make big battle plans that depended on a mysterious object they new nothing about! I mean, they spend the better part of an entire episode trying to find out more information about the Scythe and they already had a pretty good idea what it would do!
It ended with so many awwws my cheeks hurt. Love it!
