I'm so happy you liked it! I did think of having something come out of that lake, because: monsters! But it seemed harrowing enough without that, so I just mentioned the possibility in passing. I suppose I could have made a monster that was a metaphor for something-or-other, but just how eluded me this time around.

Binky did get the worst of it, poor devil. I'm sure he doesn't blame Giles. That makes one of them. :(
