Wow. A very interesting take on Ethan's place in Giles life. Intervention - seriously. If you wrote more of this, I'd certainly be interested in reading it. Makes me wonder how the taunting Ethan of the Halloween episode, Band Candy and The Dark Age fits into this. The Ethan of this story doesn't seem like he'd be all nasty and cavalier with Giles when he met him later, trying to shuffle Eyghon on to him, etc.

Loved how your Ethan stuck with Giles after his descent into darkness after Randall's death, etc. Great take on their relationship.
