Sunlight streamed through the window, highlighting the spot where Anya was spreading a plaid blanket on the floor. In moments she had placed the contents of the basket beside her in an appetizing order in front of her.
“What are you doing?”
“I thought we’d have a picnic.”
“Generally speaking, one usually conducts this sort of activity outside.”
“I didn’t want to risk our being disturbed by unwanted guests.”
“Ants?”
She quickly shook her head. “Bunnies”
Giles couldn’t help but grin at the expression on her face as he sat down beside her. “We certainly wouldn’t want to risk that.”
