A Celtic-ish font like
Kells
(http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/Kells-SD) (free font) would probably be perfect! Am thinking medieval illustrated manuscript.
And don't rush for my sake! I'm just stoked that you're making a banner for this story :D
