I had Leighton's The Accolade (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Edmund_blair_leighton_accolade.jpg) in mind, though that painting isn't all that historically accurate with the armor. Steal from Uther, I'd say :D St George's banner has a red cross on a white background. I gave the Order a two-barred version of it. I forget why. I did a lot of reading on the various historical orders named for St George. I think one of them used it.
