One of my favorite things to do is try to give the flavor of the part of California where Buffy lives. (Sunnydale is where Santa Barbara is in our world, though it's much smaller than SB is. At least if you go by the map the mayor consults in S3. If you believe the end of S7, it's somewhere out in the Mojave desert. How a town with an ocean port is in the Mojave, I'll never know. Anyway.)
